What is narrative architecture?
Narrative Architecture is SJK Labs' discipline for structuring how a business is understood across its website, messaging, proof, PR, founder visibility and AI-retrievable surfaces. It is not just copywriting. It is the strategic design of the story, stakes, terminology and evidence so the market can grasp what matters quickly.
The work includes deciding what the company is really saying, what proof belongs closest to which claim, and how the same explanation should travel across key pages and public signals.

What is the Scriptwriter Test?
The Scriptwriter Test is SJK Labs' diagnostic for finding where authority breaks down. It tests protagonist, stakes and dialogue: who the story centres, why the problem matters, and whether the language sounds human enough to persuade. It is designed to diagnose narrative weakness before more content, PR or visibility work begins.
It is the first filter for businesses that know something is off but cannot yet tell whether the issue is positioning, urgency, voice or all three at once.

What is the Legibility Gap?
The Legibility Gap is the gap between how strong a business really is and how clearly the market can understand, trust and retrieve that strength. It shows up when capable companies are seen but misread, remembered vaguely, or overlooked by buyers, journalists, search engines and AI systems.
In practice, that means expertise exists, but the signals around it are too fragmented, generic or weak to compound properly in public.
The canonical explanation is on The Legibility Gap.
What is GEO?
At SJK Labs, GEO means Generative Engine Optimisation: making a brand easier for AI systems to understand, describe and retrieve accurately. It overlaps with SEO, but focuses more on entities, proof, schema, repeated language and the wider structure that shapes machine interpretation.
Good GEO is usually the result of better clarity upstream. It works best when the business already knows what story it is trying to make legible and what proof should support that story.

How is narrative strategy different from PR?
Narrative strategy decides what the market should understand, remember and repeat about a business. PR distributes that story through media, interviews and public moments. At SJK Labs, narrative comes first, because amplification works poorly when the underlying story, stakes and proof are still unclear.
PR can create reach, but narrative strategy decides what that reach is actually carrying. If the story is vague, generic or badly structured, more exposure usually scales confusion rather than authority.

How do SJK Labs engagements start?
SJK Labs usually starts with the clearest entry point for the problem in front of the business. Sometimes that is a defined diagnostic. Sometimes it is a deeper strategy engagement. The goal is to start where the signal is actually breaking.
The useful question is not what a package is called. It is whether the first job is diagnosing the story, tightening the narrative system, or building repeated authority once the strategy is clear.
